   Pulsar 5x50mm Digisight Recon 550 Digital Night Vision Scope 78021 is a durable digital Night Vision scope from Pulsar featuring a built-in infrared illuminator. The Digisight Recon 550 is outfitted with a five-lens eyepiece to minimize distortion on the edges of the field of view and increase sharpness and contrast of the image. The soft rubber eyecup conceals the light emission from the Pulsar Night Vision tube, permitting the user of the digital night vision scope to remain in darkness. The built-in infrared light takes care of close-range illumination when natural lighting is not enough

   I would recommend this unit for anyone wanting true NV use. This is not a toy as are most Gen1 units. You would be hard pressed not to be impressed with this scope. This unit works and displays an excellent picture on my 42" big screen. Do recommend you use lithium batteries for best longevity and performance.

   This is a fine value for the features. There are other models with additional features but the user has to weigh the cost of those for what the usage will be. I am a sportsman and this model has all i need with fine optics and surprisingly good screen resolution.
